However, there is some good news for the players as the Skyrim team is planning to bring back the SKSE with an update this coming March.
Many were saddened with the update and the effect of this to the mods for the game. 'Skyrim Special Edition has been released, and the original SKSE will not work with it,' the team earlier revealed on its website. This was mainly blamed to the loss of the Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE) which helped the game run mods and handle commands. In October last year, most mods for 'Skyrim Special Edition' were not anymore compatible with the game. Fans are excited for its return because of the vital functions it provides gamers.
The Skyrim Script Extender may soon find its way back to the 'Skyrim Special Edition' after the game lost it last year.
